Know, the candidates standing for the post of PUSU President: Some are seeking votes from Panipuri, Biryani and some by falling on their feet; Election will be held on 19 November


Patna University student union election is to be held on 19th November. In the election, the candidates for the post of president of all the parties are constantly appealing for votes by going to all the colleges. At the same time, many candidates are adopting different types of handcuffs to get votes. Some are asking for votes with Panipuri, Biryani and Momos and some by falling on their feet. For the first time this has been seen in Patna.

RJD candidate

Student RJD presidential candidate Saket Kumar is a student of UG Statistics Part 2 of Patna College. Saket is a resident of Phulwarisharif. Saket's parents had died in a road accident in his childhood. He is fighting alone.

Saket says that when I took admitted to Patna College, my subject was not taught there. Then studied at Patna Science College for one year. I am standing for election so that I can bring some change to the university.

AISA candidates

Student AISA President Candidate Aditya Ranjan is a student of PG Hindi 1st Semester of Darbhanga House. Aditya belongs to a farming family from Saharsa and lives in Patna for good education. Aditya has been a student of JNV. His father is not in this world. On the other hand, Aditya always works in the interest of the students and is always ahead in agitating on every issue of the university.

Independent Candidate

Mansi Jha, an independent candidate for the post of president, is a student of PG History 1st semester of Darbhanga House. Mansi is a resident of Sitamarhi and currently lives in Patna with her family. Mansi has been a student of Magadha Mahila earlier and won the post of counselor in the 2019 elections. After this, she has been in constant discussion and has been agitating on every issue related to girls. Mansi says that my mother is a teacher and I get maximum support from her.

Student JDU candidate

Student JDU presidential candidate Anand Mohan is a student of PG 4th semester of Darbhanga House. Anand is a resident of Paliganj but lives with his family in Ashiana Nagar, Patna. His father is the CMD of Frontline Group. Anand had won the post of councilor from Darbhanga House in the 2019 elections. Since then he started taking interest in politics. At the same time, Anand's cousin Mohit Prakash also became the president from JDU in the 2018 elections.

Student JAAP Candidates

Dipankar Prakash, the candidate for the post of student JAAP president, is a student of PG Zoology 4th semester of Patna Science College. Dipankar is the son of a simple farmer from Fatuha, Patna, who lives in the Ambedkar Hostel of Patna University. Dipankar's dream was to take admission in Patna Science College. Dipankar says that I am the son of Dalit and understand their problems very well. I have also stood for election so that I can help more children like me.

Student ABVP Candidate

ABVP presidential candidate Pragati Raj is a student of PG Political Science 4th semester of Darbhanga House. Pragati hails from Nalanda and lives in Patna City with her family. Pragati's father is the principal of a government school. Prior to this, Pragati studied in Magadha Mahila, where she was the secretary of sports. Even now she is very interested in sports and also teaches girls.

Student NSUI candidates

NSUI presidential candidate Shashwat Shekhar is a PG Geography student of Patna College. Shashwat is a resident of Siwan but has come to Patna to study. He lives in Saidpur Hostel of Patna University. Saidpur Hostel has about 300 students. Shashwat's family background has also been political.

In this year's student union elections, candidates of four major parties are students of Darbhanga House. The children of Darbhanga House are actively participating in the student union elections. The candidates for the post of president are Anand Mohan from JDU, Pragati Raj from ABVP, Aditya Ranjan from AISA and Independent Mansi Jha from Darbhanga House.

Verified
