IIM Ranchi has officially commenced its highly anticipated Five-Day Nurturing Future Leadership Programme, running from November 25th to November 29th, 2024. The programme, organized under the prestigious Malviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), aims to equip faculty members from public-funded higher educational institutions with the leadership skills required for effective academic and institutional leadership.
The programme aims to nurture leadership skills among faculty members, empowering them to take on leadership roles effectively within academic institutions. The inauguration ceremony was held today, graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director IIM Ranchi. In his address, Prof. Srivastava emphasized the critical importance of leadership skills and stressed how collective learning is essential for driving organizational success. He was joined by Prof. Amit Sachan, Dean of Executive Education, and Prof. Angshuman Hazarika, Programme Director, both of whom provided valuable insights to further enrich the programme.
This initiative is part of the Government of India's vision to cultivate a culture where "Everyone is a Leader." By providing faculty with the tools to become proactive contributors to institutional decision-making, the programme aims to expand the pool of future leaders in higher education.
Over the course of 20 intensive sessions, participants will gain key leadership knowledge and strategies in areas such as strategic leadership, academic administration, innovative learning, international collaboration, communication, teamwork, social impact, accreditation, emotional intelligence, AI in leadership and more.
The Nurturing Future Leadership Programme offers faculty members a transformative opportunity to enhance their leadership abilities, helping them become more effective leaders in their institutions and contributing meaningfully to the broader educational landscape.
