IIM Ranchi and Keele Business School, UK Sign MoU to Boost Global Academic and Research Collaboration

IIM Ranchi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Keele Business School, Keele University, United Kingdom, to promote academic, research, and cultural cooperation in areas of mutual interest. This partnership is a significant step toward strengthening IIM Ranchi’s global presence and aligning its initiatives with international standards of management education and research.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director, IIM Ranchi, and Dr. Abhishek Behl, Senior Lecturer, Director of Top-up Programs, and Research Coordinator at Keele Business School, UK, under the guidance of Dr. Scott Bambrick, Director, Keele Business School. The occasion was also graced by Dr. Aman Kumar, Chairperson, International Exchange Programme; Ms. Tanwee Hargave, Manager - International Relations, Dr. Gaurav Marathe, Dr. Manish Bansal, Dr. Radha Yadav, Dr. Priya Premi, along with other faculty members and administrative officials.
The primary objective of the agreement is to foster collaboration between IIM Ranchi and Keele Business School in order to enhance academic quality, strengthen research contributions, and promote intercultural understanding. Both institutions are committed to working together to provide students and faculty with opportunities that combine global exposure with academic excellence.
The MoU will facilitate collaboration in several areas such as student and faculty exchange, joint research and publications, development of joint programs, executive education, and co-hosting of academic events like conferences and workshops. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing academic quality, research opportunities, and global exposure for both institutions. The MoU will remain valid for five years, with scope for extension through mutual consent.
On the occasion, Prof. Srivastava said: “This collaboration is an important step in IIM Ranchi’s journey of strengthening its global presence. It will create valuable opportunities for students and faculty in teaching, research, and innovation, while also building stronger international partnerships.”
Dr. Behl added that the partnership will open new paths for research, knowledge-sharing, and academic growth, further strengthening the relationship between India and the UK in higher education.
