UGC-NET Exam: Apply for UGC NET till 31


National Testing Agency can apply for UGC-NET June 2023 till May 31.

While its fees can be paid till June 1. UGC-NET exam will be held in 83 subjects. The fees for the unreserved category is Rs. 1150; EWS and OBC are Rs. 600  and SC, ST and PWD and third gender candidates are Rs 325. Correction in the application form can be done on June 2-3. The exams will be conducted from June 13 to 22. The exam will be of three hours.

There will be no break in Paper-1 and Paper-2. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 3 to 6 pm. Candidates have to apply at www.nta.ac.in or https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Application can be made online only. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will have to answer 50 questions for Paper 1 and 100 questions for Paper 2. There will be a total exam of 300 marks. Applicants up to 30 years can apply for JRF.

While there is no age limit to apply for Assistant Professor. Exam centers will be set up in 11 cities in Punjab. Of these, centers will be set up in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Bathinda, Fazilka, Ferozepur, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot, Patiala, Rupnagar, SAS Nagar, Sri Muktsar Sahib. A Query Redressal Cell has also been constituted to help the students. In which after getting the registration done, students can complain about their problems online.
