National Testing Agency (NTA) extended the registration deadline for the UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) December 2023 examination. As per the revised schedule, candidates now have until today, October 31, to complete the registration process. Those who have not registered yet or may have missed the previous deadline can apply before the deadline.

Previously, the last date to apply for the UGC NET December 2023 was set as October 29. However, the NTA, recognising the need to accommodate more candidates, decided to grant an extension. As of now, interested candidates can submit their application forms on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in until 11:59 PM on October 31. The official notice from NTA emphasises that candidates must submit only one application; multiple submissions will result in strict action.

UGC NET DECEMBER 2023: HOW TO APPLY?

Here is a step-by-step guide to apply for the UGC NET December 2023 examination:

Step 1. Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, locate and click on the UGC NET application form link.

Step 3. Register by providing the necessary details.

Step 4. Complete the application form and make the required fee payment.

Step 5. Down the application form and confirmation slip. Take a printout for future references.

Additionally, NTA has provided an opportunity for candidates to correct any errors in their application forms. The application correction window will be open from November 1 to 3. It’s important to note that after this period, no further modifications will be allowed.
