Students of CUSB's Probono Club conducted awareness campaign in Tikari block.

The Probono Club, a student organization affiliated with the School of Law and Governance at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) organized an awareness campaign in Swasin village within the Tikari block.
According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mohd. Mudassir Alam, the campaign was executed under the guidance of Dr. Dev Narayan Singh, the Nodal Officer of the Probono Club. During this initiative, students utilized street drama as a medium to raise awareness about various social issues.
As part of the 'Campus for Community' campaign initiated by Kameshwar Nath Singh, the Vice Chancellor of CUSB (Central University of South Bihar), a program was conducted wherein the CUSB team engaged with farmers and villagers. During this event, the team discussed a range of issues and presented potential solutions to address them.
Addressing the villagers, Dr. Dev Narayan Singh said, "In the society we all live together, and it is our responsibility to raise true awareness towards social issues." He expressed his views regarding social issues such as education, cleanliness, better health. Further, through street drama, students explained in detail about “good touch, bad touch”. Through this play, students spread awareness in the matter of personal hygiene and safety and focused on social problems caused by ignorance and illiteracy.
Along with this, students spread awareness among the villagers about different social issues. While Tanisha explained about menstrual hygiene, Deepanjali Aggarwal made people aware about the dowry system. Apart from this, Samta Kumari and Rupa Kumari also talked about issues like right to education and child marriage while spreading awareness among the villagers.
