The IIM Ranchi campus came alive on the opening day of RUSH 11.0 - Rendering the Future, with a vibrant celebration of competition, creativity, and community, marking the start of the institute’s much-awaited annual fest.

Day 1 unfolded with an action-packed lineup of sporting events that brought together teams from multiple institutions. The morning kicked off with high-energy matches across disciplines - box cricket between NIT Jamshedpur and IIM Ranchi, intense basketball fixtures, and fast-paced futsal encounters. Volleyball courts echoed with cheers as teams from Gossner College, Doranda, Amity University Ranchi, and IIM Ranchi battled it out for supremacy. Table tennis and chess competitions added to the competitive spirit, with students showcasing focus, strategy, and teamwork throughout the day.

From 10:00 AM to late evening, the campus remained charged with enthusiasm as inter-college rivalries played out on the field. Matches such as futsal clashes between IIM Ranchi and Amity University Ranchi, volleyball face-offs with NIT Jamshedpur, and multiple chess and throwball contests ensured that sports remained at the heart of the day’s celebrations.

As the sun set, the excitement shifted from the grounds to the stage. The evening segment of RUSH Events began with a lively performance by comedian Aadithya Kulshreshtha, popularly known as Kullu, whose humor and effortless charm had the audience in splits. The momentum continued with a dynamic musical act by Neerajomatic, setting the perfect tone for the night. Day 1 concluded on a high note with an electrifying performance by High Note - the IIM Ranchi Band, leaving the crowd energized and eager for more.
