MANIT Bhopal marked the second day of E-Summit 24


E-Summit'24 was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at MANIT Bhopal, featuring Honorable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji, as the Chief Guest. The event also had Mr. P. Narhari Ji, Secretary of the Department of MSME as the Guest of honour, and other distinguished guests.

During his address, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji encouraged the young audience to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. He assured them of government support and highlighted Madhya Pradesh's strides in startups and innovation, emphasizing the state's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister congratulated the Entrepreneurship Cell at MANIT Bhopal for organizing the mega event.

Mr. P. Narhari Ji, as the Guest of Honor, shared insights into the efforts made by the MSME department in supporting entrepreneurship. The inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of E-Summit'24, promising a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain knowledge, network, and showcase their innovative ideas.

Today marked the second day of E-Summit'24, an Entrepreneurship Fest being held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. The day started with the launch of Central India's Largest Startup Expo. This was followed by an Investor panel session and pitchings by startups. A conference of 50+ startups and 100+ investors, incubators, and accelerators is taking place in this expo on the 10th and 11th of February. 

Apart from the Startup Expo, there was a Business Plan Competition, Creators Camp, and Keynote Session. The Business Plan Competition saw groundbreaking ideas from startup enthusiasts. 

Playing a new note on the importance of Industrial development and its growth, an Industry Innovation Conclave was held which saw insightful and enlightening discussions from BHEL experts, Startup sectors, and Telecommunication sectors. On a higher note, an IPL auction simulation competition was also organized where bids for over 180 cricket players with no real money.

The evening saw the attendance of Mr. Gaurav Juyal, host of Art Attack, and Ms. Nidhi Narwal, poet and narrator. Keynote sessions marked the end of the day with sessions delivered by Mr. Sharad Vivek Sagar, Founder of Dexterity, Mr. Vikas Swarup, Author behind Oscar winning adaptation film, Slumdog Millionaire, and Mr. Anubhav Dubey, Founder of CSB.

At E-Summit'24. In his keynote session, Mr. Sharad Vivek Sagar, CEO of Dexterity Global, highlighted the contrast between Indian and foreign education, urging a shift from grade-centric pursuits to ventures focused on meaningful impact. Drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda, he emphasized patience in entrepreneurship, stating it's not just about making money but creating a positive impact. Mr. Sagar challenged stereotypes, emphasized the importance of knowing why one starts a venture, and stressed building trust for credibility.

During the E-Summit'24 keynote session, Mr. Vikas Swarup, former diplomat and author of the Oscar-winning adaptation 'Q&A,' eloquently conveyed his journey inspired by "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and the belief that life is the greatest teacher. Reflecting on the global appreciation for underdog stories, he emphasized the transformative power of words, stating that books are not mere products but vehicles of impact and empowerment. Advocating for the use of social media in government to directly connect with the common people, he shared insights from his diplomatic career, expressed a desire for a roundtable with Mahatma Gandhi and Premchand, and announced the upcoming release of his new novel in July, adding another chapter to his literary contributions.
