A shocking incident at Bengaluru College has taken place. An engineering student from Kerala has allegedly committed suicide at the AMC Engineering College which is in the Bannerghatta locality of Bengaluru.

The Incident has come into light today, December 15, 2022As per the news, the student hailed from Koyalandi village near Padini Zaria region in Kozhikode district of Kerala, the Bengaluru police said. The student’s parents reside in Dubai and the police are suspecting that the reason he committed suicide is because of the lack of attention from his parents. He was admitted to the hospital by his brother. The student slit his throat with a knife in the washroom of the college  

Further, the report suggests that the police have said that the student joined the college on December 1 and took up the CES course for the first year. The Bannerghatta police who are currently investigating the situation stated that the student was in a depressed mood for being away from his parents who are in Dubai currently and he made continuous calls to his parents after he joined the college.

Currently, the police have recorded statements from his roommates and college classmates. The student’s classmates have informed the police that the boy was calling his parents and arguing with them that they should come down to see him.
