Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gharota village, Jammu students were welcomed at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM) Jammu for an enlightening visit focused on career guidance. The students were hosted by the esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Barnali Chaudhary, Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Dr. Ashish Kumar, and Shri Arup Bhattacharya, AO Academics, IIM Jammu.

The visit aimed to provide the young minds from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jammu with valuable insights into career options and educational pathways, particularly in the field of management. The students participated in engaging sessions conducted by the expert faculty members, who shared their knowledge and experiences to guide and inspire the visiting students.

Dr. Barnali Chaudhary, Faculty, IIM Jammu, during her session, emphasized the importance of pursuing education with passion and purpose. "Your choices today shape your tomorrow. Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Chairperson Admission, IIM Jammu spoke about the diverse opportunities in the field of management and how it opens doors to a wide array of industries and roles. Dr. Ashish Kumar, Chairperson, Student Affairs, IIM Jammu addressed the students, shedding light on the significance of holistic development. IIM Jammu emphasizes a well-rounded education that prepares students for the challenges of the dynamic global landscape.

Shri Arup Bhattacharya, AO Academics, IIM Jammu, provided an orientation into the IIM system, giving the students an overview of the academic structure and the unique aspects that set IIMs apart in the realm of management education.

The students were also treated to a grand lunch followed by a campus tour, allowing them to witness firsthand the world-class facilities and vibrant academic environment at IIM Jammu. Throughout the visit, the faculty members addressed the students' questions, providing guidance and encouragement to help them make informed decisions about their future educational and career paths. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students left IIM Jammu with a deeper understanding of the possibilities that lie ahead and a sense of inspiration to pursue their aspirations with determination.
