IITGN is going to host the 16th edition of the “IEEE International Conference on Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Systems” (IEEE ANTS 2022)

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is going to host the 16th edition of the “IEEE International Conference on Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Systems” (IEEE ANTS 2022) from December 18 to 21, 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Scalable Secure and Sustainable Connectivity’.

IEEE ANTS is known to promote an intense dialogue between the industry and academia to bridge the gap between academic research, industry initiatives, and governmental policies through insightful panel discussions, keynotes, invited talks, and industry exhibits, which in turn introduces the academia to state-of-the-practice and results from industrial trials and interoperability experiments, and benefits the industry with exposure to leading-edge research as well as an opportunity to communicate and collaborate with academic researchers regarding practical problems.

Around 150 researchers from industry and academia from IITs, IISc, NITs from India and 18 different countries, including USA, Brazil, Korea, Japan, Hongkong, Sri Lanka, Europe, and the Middle East, are going to participate in the premier conference to deliberate and understand cutting edge technologies, digital roadmap in networking and telecommunications industry, and the standards, principles and policies governing the adoption of key networking technologies.

IEEE ANTS 2022 will have invited plenary talks, research sessions, panel discussions, tutorials, and workshops on emerging areas of this industry like radio frequency and microwave communication networks; 5G, 6G and cognitive radio networks; emerging networking paradigms and applications such as software-defined networks; augmented/virtual reality; IoT networks; Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for communications and networking; Blockchain; Quantum Communications; Internet of Vehicles; Future Wireless Technologies such as Fog and Edge Clouds; cyber-physical systems; network security; Healthcare and Emergency Communications; Aerial and Satellite Communications; and so on. The conference also includes dedicated sessions on Women in Engineering and an Early Career Forum to promote Women engineers/scientists and young researchers to showcase, present, and discuss their work with distinguished researchers from academia and industry.

Several leading national and international tech brands, including Arista, Samsung, Netweb Technologies, Ennetix, Lenovo, AMD, and IP Function, as well as DST SERB have partnered with IITGN for IEEE ANTS 2022, and participants will get to hear these industry experts during the conference.
