IIM Ranchi inaugurated a two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Leadership and Managerial Development for the Executives of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited. This programme aims to enhance leadership capabilities, equipping participants with the necessary skills to navigate challenges in dynamic business environments.

The inauguration began with a warm welcome by Prof. Manish Kumar, Programme Director, who provided an overview of the programme and its objectives. He inspired the participants to develop managerial skills during the training programme and emphasized that achieving this requires understanding the depth and importance of the subject. 

Prof. Manish Bansal, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consulting (EEC), appreciated the dedication of the participants and introduced them to IIM Ranchi’s vision for executive learning. He also provided a brief overview of the various programmes - such as the Management Development Programme (MDP), Long Duration Programme (LDP), Short Duration Programme (SDP), and several other executive courses - highlighting how these offerings can provide direct benefits to professionals in the executive cadre.

The ceremony included a traditional lamp lighting, followed by a group photo session. Throughout the programme, participants will engage in sessions covering key leadership competencies, including conflict management and negotiation, leading high-performing teams, transformational and adaptive leadership, and managing change and innovation. The curriculum is designed to provide practical insights and strategies that can be applied to real-world business scenarios. The two-day programme will conclude on December 12, 2025.
