IIM Ranchi proudly inaugurates its 14th Executive MBA programme for the 2024-26 batch on 27th of July, 2024 in the august presence of chief guest Sandip Kumar Kar, Executive Director, RDCIS, SAIL Ranchi.
This marks a significant milestone in IIM Ranchi’s commitment to fostering leadership and excellence among working professionals. The event, attended by distinguished guests, faculty, and enthusiastic participants, began with an introduction from Prof. Amit Sachan, Dean Executive Education, who in his address emphasized the importance of personal growth and collaborative learning.
Prof. Rajeev Verma, Chairperson Executive MBA welcomed the participants, highlighting the diverse backgrounds of the 30 selected participants, who hail from various sectors, including notable organizations such as Maruti Suzuki, Bombay Stock Exchange, Accenture, and SBI, and possess work experience ranging from 3.5 to 20 years. He encouraged participants to engage in peer-to-peer learning, combining both online and offline modes of education for a comprehensive learning experience. Dean Academics, Prof. Tanushree Dutta, reinforced the importance of mutual learning among peers.
An alumnus of the 2022 24 executive MBA batch Nitesh Kumar, now Senior Manager, Tata motors, shared his insights, recalling his own transformative journey and congratulating the new batch on their bold decision to pursue further education. Another esteemed alumnus of 2023 25 batch, Vikas Kumar, currently deputy manager, ESL Vedanta reiterated the points mentioned earlier. He stressed the value of collaborative learning and the unique perspectives gained through class discussions.
The esteemed Chief Guest Sanjiv, stressed the significance of cooperative learning and emphasized the value of a two-way relationship between educators and participants, which fosters an environment of mutual growth and understanding. Many colourful anecdotes from his past lightened the mood as well.
Following which the distinguished chief guest was honoured by Prof. Amit Sachan. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prof. Rajeev Verma, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their participation in this momentous occasion. The inaugural session has set the stage for an enriching educational journey, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for their professional growth.
