The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, organized Vittamanthan 2025, its prestigious annual budget discussion event, at Vivekananda Hall, Jagti Campus. The event, a collaborative effort by Nidhi – The Corporate Finance Club and Artha – The Economics Club, provided a platform for in-depth discussions on India’s Union Budget 2025 and its implications on various sectors of the economy.

The panel discussion, which was the highlight of the event, featured eminent experts from diverse fields. The esteemed panellists included Shri Manjul Raizada, Retd. Civil Servant, Department of Income Tax, Professor Dipankar Sengupta, University of Jammu, Professor Meenakshi Rajeev, Department of Economics, IIT Jammu, and Dr. Praveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, Finance and Accounting, IIM Jammu. These distinguished speakers provided insightful analyses of the key highlights of the Union Budget 2025, exploring its potential impact on sectors such as finance, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic policymaking.
