Indian   Institute   Information   Technology, Raichur (IIIT Raichur/ IIITR) witnessed 5 job offers from 2 companies in the early stage of Phase-I of the Campus Placement 2022. The entire process was held online, with students attending coding tests and job interviews from the campus and dully proctored by the respective companies in coordination with the Training Placement Cell of IIIT Raichur. As of date, a total of 15 students have registered for placements, out of which 5 students have been placed. The highest CTC offered is 45 lakhs p.a. In the ongoing Phase-I of placement, a total of 5 companies have participated, and other 6 have registered for Campus Placement 2022. Phase-I commenced in September 2022 and will end in December 2022. Phase-II of the placement season 2022 begins in January 2023. Apart from the placement, students of IIIT Raichur also witnessed internship offers from 11 companies (as of date)

Expressing his delight on the stout placement season so far, Prof B S Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad and Mentor Director, IIIT Raichur, said, “We believe in creating an industry-ready talent pool, and I am confident that the measures being taken at IIITR will certainly fetch the appropriate dream jobs for the students. The initiatives taken in the last two years, like Semester-long Internships, have started yielding results, and we will continuously improvise on it.”

Conveying his commendation on the bright start of the Placement Season, Prof Harish Kumar Sardana, Founding Director IIIT Raichur, said, “The robust foundation provided to the IIIT Raichur by the Team led by Prof Murty is incredible. I am confident this amazing beginning will encourage and set a strong precedence for the upcoming batches.”

Speaking about Phase-I of Campus Placements, Dr Debasish Mukherjee, Faculty In- Charge (Placement), IIIT Raichur, said, “Being a newly established institute, we are pleased to see that the placement season at IIIT Raichur is off to a good start. The TnP Team have been working hard, and we expect many other companies to participate in the future Placement & Internship Seasons”.
