Delhi University admissions for the current academic year will close on December 31, the university announced on Friday. Admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2022-23 will be closed.
According to the University's official data, DU has been able to grant admission to 63,900 of the total 70,000 UG seats. Several rounds of seat allocations are used for DU admissions in 2022. This year's admissions were based on the students' CUET results.
Candidates who submitted for DU Admissions through the CSAS 2022 site and were not awarded any seats on the day of the special spot admission round's announcement can participate in the special spot round admission.
"On the announcement of the special spot admission round, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admission. Desirous candidates will be able to choose all the programs in the shortlisted colleges, subject to the availability of seats," the university said.
The application process for the special spot round will take place on Monday and Tuesday, and the results will be announced on December 22. Candidates who are assigned seats in the special round must accept admission since it is required. "Failure to accept the allocated seat in the special spot admission round will forfeit the candidate's eligibility for admission to UoD," the university said.
