Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has started the online application process for admission to 25 PhD courses for the academic year 2023-24. Public Relations Officer (PRO) of CUSB Mohd. Mudassir Alam said that the official announcement of the enrollment process in PhD has been made by the Controller of Examinations (COE) Dr. Shantigopal Paine on the university website www.cusb.ac.in. CUSB has invited enrollment for a total of 316 seats in 25 courses in General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories.

Dr. Shantigopal Paine, the COE, provided further information, specifying that only candidates with NET/JRF/GATE/GPAT qualifications are eligible for Ph.D. admission. The university is scheduled to conduct walk-in interviews on November 22 and 23, 2023, for Ph.D. admissions, with the session commencing on January 2, 2024. The university is inviting nominations in 25 subjects, which include Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Life Science, Geology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Education, Education, Law, Hindi, English, Journalism and Mass Communication, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Commerce, Pharmacy, Sociology, Political Science & International Relations, History, and Economics.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications until November 20, 2023. The application fee for Ph.D. is Rs. 800 for General/EWS applicants and Rs. 500 for OBC/SC/ST/PWD applicants.
