BRA Bihar University orchestrated its debut alumni gathering at the university senate hall, seamlessly blending in-person and virtual attendance. Esteemed former students from diverse sectors convened to reminisce and reconnect at the event.

The festivities commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a heartwarming welcome song, setting the tone for the day's proceedings. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai extended a warm welcome to the alumni, providing insights into the event's agenda and emphasizing the significance of alumni reunions. Prof. Rai expressed gratitude to all participants for enriching the occasion with their presence and envisioned the association as a catalyst for cultural and social welfare initiatives, fostering a sense of tradition and legacy within the student community.

Highlighting the vital role of alumni in the university's advancement, Prof. Rai underscored the Alumni Association's commitment to facilitating networking and collaborative efforts among former students for the institution's betterment. He emphasized the alumni's profound attachment to their alma mater and their invaluable contributions to society, enriching the university's reputation.

Assuring continued engagement through future alumni meetings, Prof. Rai elucidated the university's ongoing initiatives to uphold academic excellence, enhance the student experience, and promote research and innovation endeavors.

The alumni members expressed their appreciation by honoring VC Prof. Rai for spearheading this groundbreaking initiative. Former IAS Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Secretary of the Alumni Meet Organizing Committee, commended Prof. Rai's dedication in revitalizing the Alumni Association, facilitating the inaugural alumni gathering.

Dr. Sinha, echoing the meeting's theme, 'Reunite, Relive, and Reinvest,' encouraged alumni to contribute their expertise and support the university's endowment fund. He pledged to expand the alumni network, aiming to connect twenty-five thousand members by the fiscal year-end and establish chapters in Patna and Delhi.

During the gathering, alumni fondly recalled their student days and expressed delight at the university's progress, pledging unwavering support for its endeavors. Prof. Omprakash Roy, principal of the prestigious LS College and a BRABU alumni, extended gratitude, recognizing the university's illustrious history and resurgence under VC Prof. Rai's leadership.
